Nursing is a growing field with an ever-widening scope of practice. If you're looking to enhance your life and make a difference in the lives of others through a career in nursing, Keiser University can help with our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Our goal is to ensure that graduates are prepared to provide compassionate, patient-centered, culturally competent nursing care to a variety of populations. We teach students to use evidence-based knowledge and skills related to wellness, health promotion, illness, disease management, and end-of-life care, as well as to employ the latest health technologies.
The FastTrack Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is offered for students beginning their first professional nursing program, in a format that allows students to complete the program of study in seven semesters.
The program emphasizes the Registered Nurse as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team and a member of the discipline of nursing. Coursework in this program provides students with a framework of knowledge on the caring principles and emphasize critical-thinking, leadership, management, evidence-based practice, health promotion and illness prevention, and physical assessment. The curriculum accentuates cultural, political, economic, and social issues that influence patients, families, communities, and populations across all health care delivery settings.
Upon graduation, you will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensing exam to practice as a registered nurse.
